Professional background
In the table below you can get an overview of my professional career. In my time as a structural engineer, I created fire designs of various load-bearing structures. On the other hand, I have created a variety of static calculations for constructions of structural engineering for the building and machinery industry. Therefore, I am very familiar with design of structures at room temperature as well as under fire conditions.
In teaching, I also cover a wide range. In addition to the basic static subjects (engineering mechanics, strength and structural engineering), I offer courses on steel and composite construction, bridge construction and fire design.

Academic education
During my studies and during my time as Ph.D. student, I specialized in fire design. In addition to numerical investigations, I also planned and supervised fire tests.
